Lockdown- A lesson for life: Treat Mother Nature Better!!!

Lockdown, a word that technically means a state of restriction of access taken in as a security measure. But this lockdown provided us a period to indulge oneself in some rational thinking and processing, it required us to take a break from this rapid pace of our lives, where everyone seemed to be a part of an endless race, that’s never going to end!! This break of human race from their regular lifestyle made those reforms in the nature, which were often discussed and debated by a number of learned Environment Activists, Scientists and even a layman on their social media platforms on The World Environment Day every year, back to back but never hit the ground reality.

The Ganga and Yamuna, despite being the sacred rivers remained polluted the entire year but this lockdown phase gave them a new life and as per the recent news they have never be seen this clean in the last many years. Also, since this lockdown, we all have heard a number of positive news like the drastic downfall in the pollution levels of all the metro cities, the lakes and rivers being in their cleanest form and many more. Though we were all confined within the walls of our homes, but deep within we all admit that the last few days were those days when we breathed the freshest air in cities like Delhi, Mumbai and other such major cities of the world, which might have not happened in the last couple of decades.

This lockdown, gave us a break to self-analyze ourselves as a responsible race of what are we giving back to Mother Nature out of the countless favours she has been doing to raise us, to feed us, to feed and nurture our generations; but in return we have constantly kept exploiting those precious resources and never ever actually worked on to preserving them. It’s high time that we realize the potential necessity of what nature provides us before it’s too late.

Nature has the capability to heal itself, all it needs is some time, consideration and empathy of humans towards the planet we live in. Let’s just sit back, think and make a promise to oneself to actually serve and do our best to minimize and control the exploitation of mother Earth. May be this Corona Era is a warning of the upcoming Doomsday, which could possibly be the worst occurring in the history of mankind. Therefore, let each one of us do their bits so that we never ever evident such dark times again.

Think, before you Act!! Don’t wait to regret and remorse again!!! Save Mother Nature, before its too late!!!

A New Chapter....

When the entire world is locked down....locked in the shackles of a deadly pandemic, a new chapter has just begun in my life. And this chapter is all about 'Self-love'...... Certain set of incidents happened in the last few days have taught me a lesson I would cherish my entire life time and would love to pass on this legacy to my boy. It is never worth taking loads of pleasing everyone, taking the pressure of being that perfect mom, that perfect wife, that perfect daughter, that perfect daughter-in-law and the list is endless. There exists "Nothing", I literally mean "Nothing", which is "Perfect" in all the true senses. So ladies shed off that burden, instead crave for respect in any relation, appreciate people who have a non-judgmental approach towards you, appreciate the ones who appreciate what you do instead of nagging about the things or tasks that you somehow fail to do. Appreciate them!!! Whole-heartedly!! Me being a mommy, a wife and ...

Khaas Mumma......

Well, we all moms one time or the other must have discussed about the endless responsibilities that motherhood is known to bring along with that cute and adorable baby of ours. But we are so intimidated by the set of responsibilities that we often overlook the bliss, the amount of positivity it brings along..... I sometimes envied my hubby, as he spends hours in office and yet in the evening when he is back home my son used to get so excited just by a glimpse of him and would utterly ignore me......YES, you all read it right!!! All of a sudden, a lad who was swinging in my arms, playing with me the whole day would suddenly become his "Papa's Boy"!! Despite all my hardships, all my efforts of handling his cranky mood, his sudden demand of having his favorite snack in odd hours (I shouldn't forget to mention from the last two days he is behind me to make his favourite  Samosas ) to playing with him in the afternoon specifically when it's my time to take a n...
